Why do cultural events feel like they’re accelerating at such a face-melting rate? Everywhere we turn around us, cultural norms are being obliterated by the week, inroads being made towards ‘new normals’ we couldn’t have even imagined just last year alone. Maybe there’s something to be said for the amplifying effect of echo-chambers and the way they can wrinkle reality for people who are a little too plugged into social media and other sewer-like conduits for the cultural sickness.
But even so, I think it’s more than that. People around us all seem to feel it, see it, sense it. We are truly living in a cultural moment that feels like John Carpenter’s They Live, except we don’t even have to put on our special glasses to see the rapid-swelling decay swallowing up society.
We know it’s by design, at least in large part. But what is the greater impetus behind this madness? Recently, it was the BudLight fiasco, which has resulted in the watered down beer now routinely pawned off for everything from .99 cents a case to outright free:
This week it’s been Target mania in the US. Target stores across the country have debuted ‘vibrant’ new LGBT and pro-Trans clothing sections for toddlers and young kids. This included partnering with trans clothing brands who sell ‘chest binders’ and ‘tuck-friendly bikinis’, which allow trans females still sporting an inconvenient third limb to more effectively ‘tuck it’ out of visibility.
Target stores, which are no stranger to political controversy, are wading in the waters yet again, collaborating with what has been described as “queer-owned” brands to assist in normalizing radical transgender ideology by selling chest binders — apparel to flatten women’s chests. -Breitbart
This was rolled out in perfect concert with a wave of new TikTok video tutorials where trans rights activists teach children how ‘young girls can hide their chestbinders from their parents’. And this illustrates the problem: the messaging feels heavily coordinated between the evil corporations and their paid-for grass-roots influencer foot soldiers.
Social activist slash comedian Alex Stein trolled Target for their ‘tuck-friendly’ bikini selection by prancing around the store in a rainbow number, cleverly taking advantage of the utter infallibility shield which trans people currently enjoy on the cultural totem pole, ensuring that no store employee could dare reproach him for fear of life-destroying demonization as a ‘trans-phobe’.
But parents have been fighting back, making their voices heard. This has caused sharp drops in Target Corp’s bottom line, with a reported $9 billion in losses thus far:
Target has 461 million shares of stock. In the last month, shares have dropped from 163 per share to 143 per share, a 20 dollar per share haircut, or a drop of 9.2 Billion dollars, with no end in sight. Investors are running for the hills, as it should be.
Fearing a BudLight-esque backlash, Target has apparently backtracked and begun pulling some of its products, now instead angering the far-left crowd and trans-activists:
In fact, it was revealed that the designer which Target partnered with was an openly self-avowed Satanist who believes that ‘Satan represents love’:
Here’s the Instagram post from the designer Target partnered with:
It reads:
One of my favourite and most popular designs, and the one that gave Abprallen its proper footing and direction. Coming up with this phrase really helped make Abprallen what it is today.
Satan loves you and respects who you are; you’re important and valuable in this world and you deserve to treat yourself with love and respect. LGBT+ people are so often referred to as being a product of Satan or going against God’s will, so fine. We’ll hang with Satan instead.
Satanists don’t actually believe in Satan, he is merely used as a symbol of passion, pride, and liberty. He means to you what you need him to mean. So for me, Satan is hope, compassion, equality, and love.
So, naturally, Satan respects pronouns. He loves all LGBT+ people. I went with a variation of Baphomet for this design, a deity who themself is a mixture of genders, beings, ideas, and existences. They reject binary stereotypes and expectations. Perfect.
And here’s the lead designer himself, a “gay trans man” reportedly from London:
ReallyGraceful has even deep-dived (Alt Link) into the Target-Rockefeller connection, and what could really be behind their disturbing new push. She correctly points out how it was Target that spearheaded the transgender bathroom scandal that swept the country in 2016.
But no matter the backlash, companies continue to accelerate into this direction at unprecedented speeds, as if something—some hidden hand—is suddenly pushing them with unparalleled urgency. The latest is Northface, which has released their new ‘summer of pride’ commercial, featuring a colorfully prancing dragqueen:
(I add both image and video above because I have a nagging suspicion that sometime in the future that video will be taken down, so, for posterity reasons, I like to hedge my bets)
Miles Ian Cheong points out how Northface is supposed to be a rugged outdoorsman company:
The North Face has now gone full transgender with a drag queen commercial. Because nothing says "rugged outdoorsman" like a man in a wig and a rainbow-colored dress.
And it’s true, the hidden messaging beneath this recent sally of pride month commercials doesn’t simply stop at ‘celebrating who they are’, but instead pushes new boundaries in indoctrinating a re-definition of ‘what it means to be masculine’. The Northface ad says ‘Come Out’, as if subliminally urging all to the LGBT spectrum.
Ford, too, joined in the fray by launching a ‘redefining Tough’ campaign for pride month. The programming is clear: the old masculinity is out and the new is in:
Fearing to anger the Pride-fueled LGBT fanatics, the MLB’s Dodgers organization caved in this week to a group they had previously banned, called the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, inviting them back to perform at the LA Dodgers ‘Pride Night’. (Why does a baseball team even need one of those?)
“After much thoughtful feedback…We have asked the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to take their place on the field at our 10th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night on June 16.”
The group, described as ‘drag nuns’, tours with a series of performances which can only be described as grotesque. In one such filmed performance, they are seen crudely mocking Christianity by using the cross as a stripper pole, while a ‘suffering Christ’ looks on in agony:
This is the group allowed by the LA Dodgers organization into their ‘family-friendly’ Pride Night? One Tweeter described it aptly:
When my family took me to ballgames we stood and sang the national anthem, had popcorn, hotdogs, cheered, we had soda’s, cheered on our team and yes, booed the umpire… we had family, fun time! What has happened to normalcy in our nation… oh I know, elections have consequences
This is not normal.. we are no longer normal…I long for our old normal….
I may be religiously agnostic, but even I can see this is beyond the pale. The word ‘Satanic’ gets thrown around a lot these days, but I’ve become partial to the term Luciferian to describe the current global elites who are pushing this accelerated degeneracy on humanity. The reason being that Luciferian is a term more divorced from strictly religious connotations and is meant to describe a current crop of elites which see themselves as aspiring to godhood, irrespective of modern religious trappings.
In reality, the elites simply use religion as a system of symbols whose true lineage they know better than the rest of us, as it is part of the esoteric training of the many secret societies which comprise the rarefied fabric of the elevated. Thus, I don’t see what they’re doing as ‘Satanic’, which is a basely constrained, lower function term, but rather Luciferian in the ecumenical reach and profundity the word entails.
But what are the mechanisms behind what’s happening? Is it all a punctiliously orchestrated set of protocols, rolled out with scientific care? In reality, much of it is ipso facto the result of a decoupling of the patrician elite class from the cares, concerns, and vicissitudes of the unwashed laity. The more polarization that occurs in society, the more the airy class of celebrities and techno-pharisees alike are removed from the daily understandings of the underclass. This creates a natural disconnect which compounds many of the ills we see, including a sense of breathless acceleration of the madness around us.
The patricians who live their gated lives are now wholly intubated of reality through the distorted lens of their digital echochambers. This creates the Baudrillardian simulacra of celebrities and politicians alike no longer even inhabiting the same, mutually shared plane as the rest of us. Though this may seem pedantic at first, the deeper understanding consists of how this process accelerates their own increasingly decoupled para-conformities.
The further the ideological distance that the polarization creates, the more decoupled the two sides get, entrenching themselves in their own mutual realities. But the difference is: one reality—namely, ours—merely exists as an unchanged substrate handed down to us by eons of natural development and which we’re instinctively trying to protect; sort of like indigenous tribes fighting off the bulldozers chugging through their forest.
But the other side is fabricating a new reality, one that has never existed before; it’s the other, the outsider, the usurper. And in doing so, they are trying to force that reality onto ours by osmosis: the goal being total absorption or assimilation. But since their reality is newer, it needs to constantly be packaged and ‘sold’ to us, over and over, lest it dissipate and we all forget about it and go about our normal lives. Thus, their reality requires a matrix of constant upkeep in the form of endless loops of messaging that comprise its very fabric.
What happens though is, as this patrician class continually decouples from us by way of their rejection of the binding ligatures of our shared existence, they inadvertently back themselves further and further into a corner. It’s a shrinking black box which represents their new reality as divorced from the interconnectedness to the previous substrate. This causes a series of shortened feedback loops for all of their messaging, which initiates a cascade of reciprocity: a mirror simulation where the two mirrors are slowly closing in on each other.
Each message, movement, or narrative is churned back onto itself through an accelerating series of iterations. The natural dialogue with real society ceases to be as the patricians react only to reflections of their own rage and madness, in ever-shortening cycles.
And since the cord of that dialogue is cut, all manner of listening and learning that would naturally inform one’s ideologies is no longer there; the self-cleansing optimization mechanism is gone, and so these genteels reel further and further into a terminal agony, a simulation of mental instability and degeneracy not undergirded by any rhyme, reason, or rationality. They begin to turn to primal shrieks and howls, infantile bawls of rage to express their increasing derealization from reality.
Take Democratic Nebraska State Senator Machaela Cavanaugh’s recent outburst:
Lacking rational arguments, an ability to cogitate and lucidly argue their abnormal positions, they resort to neuralgic fits and myoclonic paroxysms.
But all this is to say, that the process of ‘acceleration’ we speak of, can to some extent at least, be attributed to a natural byproduct of this decoupling. The more they decouple from our shared reality, the shorter are the self-feedback loops, which produces a frenzy of more, more, more. And many of the elite class in fact begin to foster a naked hatred for the rustic rubes who dare oppose their egalitarian transhumanism. Thus, their natural impetus is to increase the sheer force of propaganda as a sadistic sort of punishment, a gleeful, gloating schadenfreude at watching the gnashing misery of the underclass as they wrangle and writhe with the community-destroying, life-effacing trans-humanism forced down their gullets like foie gras.
There is certainly an obvious sadism behind much of it. Just turn to Twitter or any social media platform and note the preening exultation that accompanies the reposting of material which is offensive to the current swatch of at-risk subclasses, be they Cishets, Christians, or child-defending anti-groomers.
As this war heats up, more malice is brought to bear, which means an ever-growing power-creep of offensive imagery and actions designed specifically to offend, disgust, outrage, and demoralize; it’s a buck-breaking buffet for all humanity to reset us all to the perfectly malleable tabula rasa from which a new class of worshipful obedients can be re-programmed.
Partly, of course, the ‘acceleration’ we feel can be attributed to the impending approach of the U.S.’s greatest of saturnalian rites, the presidential election cycle. The ramp-up to this event is perennially laden with expanding waves of hyperbole, tension, and pomp and circumstance as each side vies for control of the critical pathways to our minds.
After all, Ron Desantis’s inaugural presidential ad kicked off the Amburbium-esque Big Show just a day or two ago:
We thereby enter a runway of bathetic kitsch, pomp, and pageantry dialed up to eleven. From this point on, we can expect to be in a sort of unending Colliseum games delirium all the way to the obligatory fraud and criminality circus that surrounds the finish-line of the election night itself.
Already, hijinks abound. ReallyGraceful again caught on to the strangeness in her other new video which highlights various unsettling rumors, such as the report that U.S. Senators have recently been issued satellite phones in preparation for a potential ‘disruptive event’:
For what it’s worth, if the rumor is true, it could be related to the looming American debt default which has the potential of happening in early June, as some predict it could have catastrophic consequences:
Of course, most likely they’ll just hike the ceiling and print more money as usual, and the show will go on.
But getting back to the point. In a previous article, I’d written about the fledgling phenomenon which can only be described as outrage-baiting PR tactics. This revolves around a company or institution deliberately dialing up their messaging in ways they know will set off the targeted opposition, generating a wave of pre-programmed outrage which can be used to drive narratives that ultimately benefit the visibility and, subsequently, profits of the brand; it’s a sort of reverse dog-whistle.
Similarly, it feels like the left goads the right into reacting by releasing ‘triggering’ ad campaigns specifically designed to offend and repulse their traditionalist conservatives sensibilities. This results in the conservative base reacting stick-and-carrot fashion to these provocations in a way which allows the political provocateurs behind these corporate acts to point a finger and use the outrage as an example of things that support their narrative; e.g. ‘white supremacy’, ‘bigotry’, ‘hate’, ‘intolerance’, and all the usual manufactured fakewords. In short, it’s a goading tactic that uses the left’s aforementioned ‘cultural infallibility shield’ to tip their opponents into exposing their putative ‘bigotry’.
This is all stoked to a growing degree the closer we approach The Big Show, that ersatz kabuki pageant put on for the abject plebes to give them a semblance of belief that they have any control over the results. In truth, we’re only barely past the middle mark of the current administration. But the burlesque has swelled to such gibbous grotesquerie that its grand gestures are already overtaking even the middle administrative year. Soon, in some not-too-distant future, perhaps all there will be is the Grand Pageant itself, with no preamble or denouement, nor peroration; simply the ritual itself, swallowing the world whole. Or maybe we’re already at that point, and we don’t even know it.

A very thought-provoking essay, thanks!
Interesting that you bring Lucifer into play. He is of course the 'fallen angel' who was with god until rebelled, wanting to be god-like in hell. So he has some glamour, especially in paintings, whereas Satan isn't. In the Bible Satan is given a description, a name which shows the ignorance of those who 'celebrate' him: "The Great Deceiver". And that's what this is about, in essence: deception and deflection. Have corporate America use the LBT-and-the-rest of the alphabet as cheap advertisement to deflect from the dire economic reality. Have the antisocial meejah erupt in one hysteria after the other, occupying public discourse to deceive the unfortunates forced to participate with theatre and baubles instead of reality.
I don't know where we are on the trajectory of the destruction of western society. I've decided to adopt a saying by Martin Luther, the German reformator: "And even if I knew that the world were to perish tomorrow - today I would still plant my little apple tree." ... I've planted more roses ...
1. Advertisers and retailers cannot win. If they cave to LGTBQXYZPDQ, the rest of the world abandons them. If they don't, they get roasted as bigots. If they try to backtrack, they get it from both [sides].
2. Am I truly the only cat who finds it ironic that the working woke definition of "woman" appears to be "anyone who does womanly things" and the definition of man "anyone who does manly things"?
So much less confusing to be a cat. Queens are queens and toms are toms.
3. Apparently, not respecting pronouns is the worst possible crime.
